Turbine Insurance

Hi All,
I have just been advised by my insurers that they are to increase my annual premium by almost 4 times.
They say '....following a spate of claims, insurers have increased the minimum premium to £1000 + tax.....'
In my case, as I had a claim for loss of income in 2014 they are also increasing the time excess from 5 days to 28 days.
It makes me wonder that while the turbine is still under the manufacters warranty whether this insurance is worth having?
My brokers are Lycetts and the insurance company is HSB Engineering Ins. Ltd.
Have other members of the forum come across this £1000 min. premium and do you have any views on whether such insurance is worthwhile?
